As of November 26, 2019, Applecrest Orchards is under new ownership. To be fair, a lot of work has gone into this sweet orchard since it took life in the mid 1980's, a century after the land was tended as a dairy farm. The orchard presently boasts well over 1000 trees on 10 + acres surrounding the 1884 farmhouse that was originally owned by the Peltier family. The orchard is now overwhelmingly comprised of Minnesota apple varieties….. which is just as well, because we just happen to believe that the best apples in the world are grown right here in Minnesota.

   Not only do we grow over 20 varieties, we are proud to be licensed growers of the 2018 Minnesota State Fair favorite First Kiss® apple, as well as other University of Minnesota stars like Honeycrisp, Zestar!® and SweeTango® . Of course, we have plenty of the classic native and classic apple varieties too, available from early to late season. We even have a few Minnesota pear trees hiding in the mix- like the delicious Summercrisp. We hope you will make the trip to visit our beautiful little orchard and try what we have to offer.
